Scott Heine (Senior Pastor)
Scott grew up in the suburbs of San Francisco and Silicon Valley. He married Margo in 1987, and both are confessed Starbucks addicts. They are entering the "empty nest" season of life with their three children: Benjamin, Elizabeth, and Rebecca. They've also got a couple of spoiled Engllish Springer Spaniels named Dixie and Rose.
Scott completed his B.A. in Biblical Studies at Biola University in Los Angeles and his M.Div and D.Min at Trinity International University in Chicago. Scott has enjoyed the privilege of serving churches in California, Illinois, Nebraska, and Arizona before settling in with us at Hope and making Virginia his home.
Chris Pierce (Youth Pastor)
Chris and his beautiful wife, Stephanie, have been a part of Hope since 2007. Everyone has been so impressed with his heart for youth, his servant's attitude, and his sense of fun that it just seemed natural to make him part of our staff.
Chris grew up in a small town in upstate New York and then went to Houghton College to receive his B.A. in Adolescent Education and Mathmatics. When not hanging out with the youth of Hope, he teaches math at Liberty High School in Bealton.
Random trivia about Chris: His favorite dipping sauce is... strawberry milkshake. Seriously. And his favorite thing to dip in that shake are onion rings.
