Dedicating the Dwelling Life is an amazing adventure, filled with unexpected dangers, thrilling challenges, and exciting opportunities. God calls us to live each day with courage and faith. We have an opportunty to be genuine heroes, just like all the heroes of faith whose exploits are celebrated in the New Testament letter to the Hebrews. So you wanna be a hero? Come and share the adventure with us!

Dedicating the Dwelling Is there really a God, or is it all just wishful thinking? And if there is a God, why does he allow evil and suffering to exist? What about Jesus? Did he really rise from the dead? And where do I fit in all this? What about me? What happens when I die? Join us as we consider some of life's big questions!

Dedicating the Dwelling Hope Christian Fellowship begins meeting in our new facility at Vint Hill, and it's an exciting day of new beginnings. Together we consider 1 Kings 8 and Solomon's dedication of the Temple, the dwelling place of God. It's appropriate that we dedicate God's Temple as well on this day... though it might not be what you expect. (Hint: It's much, much better!)

Bon Voyage! Often saying "goodbye" feels sad. But sometimes it's really exciting, especially when the focus is not on what's being left behind but rather on the adventure that lies ahead. On our last Sunday meeting in a rented school, we look at the gift, opportunity, responsibility, and challenge God has given us a church family as we embrace the adventure that awaits us.

Sampson: The Story of Misguided Love When we think of God's love, we are drawn to mental images of a Father loving a child, or an Artist loving his creation. But the Bible pushes that envelope and includes the imagery of a husband loving his wife with a fierce and very tangible passion; this is how powerful and tender God loves each of us.

Sampson: The Story of Misguided Love They say love is blind — that our passions make us blissfully unaware of the flaws and dangers in the object of our affections. This was especially true of Sampson, who was called to a life of dedicated love toward God but became sidetracked by misguided desires.

Hosea: the Story of Enduring Love We all love a beautiful love story: boy-meets-girl, they fall in love, and they live happily ever after. Yet love is rarely that simple, because love is not a mere emotional response to the way others make us feel. Love is a commitment rooted in self-sacrifice, and there's no better example than God's love for mankind.

Ruth: A Love Story Tucked away in the pages of the Old Testament is a beautiful love story. It's a tale of heroic sacrifice, overwhelming kindness, and life-changing commitment. But it's not merely the story of one man's love for a woman; it's also the story of how much God loves us and the extraordinary way he shows his passion.

Moment by Moment There are two kinds of time. There is what the Greeks called "chronos," the sequential events of past, present, and future. Then there is "kairos," the supreme moment when something special happens, the place between the ticking of the clock and the revealing of desinty. And it is in the "kairos" that God's kingdom is experienced and we learn to live moment-by-moment in the Lord's presence.
