Grace Ministries is hosting their True Life 101 & 201 seminars at Hope Christian Fellowship this summer. Together these events will help you discover what it means to have new life in Christ and be set free from the bondage of sin, discouragement, and self-reliance. Though there is no prerequisite for either event, this is a great opportunity to take advantage of both 101 and 201 together.
True Life 101
Saturday, August 12, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
- What do you do if your Christian life does not seem to be working?
- How do you love myself and others… especially those who seem impossible to love?
- Why can’t you break the cycle of “trying hard then giving up?”
- Can you really experience the peace and joy of Jesus… even in the middle of difficulties?
Many believers resonate with Paul’s statement in Romans 7: “I don’t really understand myself, for I want to do what is right, but I don’t do it. Instead, I do what I hate.” This struggle may allow a person to have some assurance about their future in heaven, but little peace and joy in the middle of their current circumstances.
True Life 101 will help you discover how God’s gift of his life in you changes you at your very core, allowing you to experience genuine growth and real relationship with him and others. You’ll learn that eternal life is not merely going to heaven when you die; it is knowing and experiencing genuine, abundant life right now!

True Life 201
Saturday, September 23, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
The Christian life isn’t difficult; it’s impossible, especially if you’re attempting to employ motivators like “when I think of all that God has done for me, the least I can do is my best for Him.” Or when you depend on Bible verses that don’t exist like, “God helps those who help themselves.” If you’re sick and tired of being sick and tired, this seminar is for you.
True Life 201 will help you discover that simply relying on self-discipline doesn’t work… and God never intended it to. You will learn who your real enemy is and expose his strategy to prevent you from experiencing the fullness of your new life in Christ. The truth is that being reborn as a “saint” (literally, “holy one”—the term the Bible uses to describe followers of Christ), and believing you are a saint, makes all the difference to you living like a saint. This new life in Jesus really is simple. It’s not easy, but it’s simple.
